Olivia was Chief Constable of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary until 2023, leading 5,000 people and serving 2 million residents. A chief officer for 15 years, Olivia held a number of NPCC portfolios, latterly the NPCC Local Policing Committee. Olivia has Chaired the statutory multi-agency Local Resilience Forum for major incident preparedness and response for over a decade and has directed the flagship executive leadership programme across UK policing in 2022. Olivia was awarded the QPM in 2016 and CBE in 2023, is an Associate Chief Officer with the UK College of Policing, alumnus of FutureVision public sector executive leadership 2021 and contributes to Windsor Leadership programmes. Olivia chose to leave policing after 31 years in 2023 and is currently tutoring at the Institute of Criminology at Cambridge University.
